If you want to use the mainline version of ocfs2, use a raw partition
for the voting disk and ocr.
For the db, specify filesystemio_options=directio in init.ora.

i googled and found this datavolume option was taken from 1.2 but also
it is quite needed for voting disk.I saw the dates of threads
discussing this problem and it is almost 7 to 8 months back.
how to make it work? is any new version available now? or how to fix it?
