I guess we keep the pkgconfig line then. I added a README file. It would
be good to test on some other platform as well. Did you already try on
windows?

I can not add you as a developer as I do not have the rights, but I
added the code to the repository (rev. 7621).

I also made a package and html for it and uploaded it on the release
forum. Can someone please upload it?
