Having re-read the item, I wouldn't rely on the fact the author got all the
facts correct. It is also stated that "Microsoft's recent manoeuvring in the
world of Linux" (talking about buying some of Corel). It is well known that
Microsoft are using the Corel programmers for .Net.

Anyway this is coming from the publication that suggested Delphi exists in
Why bother land!

NZ PCWORLD or the US edition? I get the NZ one free, being I'm working at
IDG at the moment.... I havn't seen anything in NZ one. Kylix is a little
way off, I think - dont plan on it before the end of Feb, tho nothing
internally has been announced, aside from Q1 2001.

yup, he got a good salary + about 3 million in either cash or shares (I dont
recall which). Not  a bad signing bonus.

yeah, in involved MFC somewhere in there, I just dont remember how..... I
know we can include it with BC++B now tho - I think (its been a long time
since I've looked at BC++B)
