Another Slavic (?) friend I spoke to said that the biggest surprise for him is that when it rains no one worries about jackets or raincoats or umbrellas. Of course in Wellington, you're as likely to lose an umbrella as stay dray from it, but I was surprised. In your other message you wrote : > I am of course willing to work for free for a year or two if that means > later I can get a normal job where my sallary would go up as the years go > by. Some people think thats a nice suggestion to make, but, I disagree : if you want to be a professional, be a professional, and professionals get paid. Well, Expect to get paid. Of course, if its going to make the difference between having a job and not, then you need to decide, but if the job is serious, how happy will you be not getting paid at 8pm on a Friday night when your manager is screaming at you for something you agreed would be done that week and you underestimated the time it'd take?
