Its not a problem of network cards but one of routing, you really need
seperate IP address ranges for your local and remote networks, we
internally use 172.31.31.xxx instead of the ubiquiotus 192.168.. or M$
10.0.. so we don't conflict with remote networks then you can set up
static routes for remote machines
I dont know how Windows VPN server is configured (we were using linux)
but we carefully configured our vpn servers to 'vend' different subnets
for this purpose (we have since changed to OpenVPN)

Hi All.
I have access to a VPN (internal Company one), and currently if I want
to access this, I need to manually initiate the connection...as you
would expect...but if I am connecting to home via Remote Desktop, then
connect to teh VPn, I loose my remote desktop.
What I am wondering is, if anyone knows, if I add another network card
to my PC, could I say that the VPN connection should/would use this 2nd
n/work card? the idea being if I DO Remote desktop into home to get
into the VPN, I wouldnt loose my remote desktop connection.
Thanks, Jeremy
