Thanks John
I watched Thirty Camtasia Demos in Thirty Days
<http://blogs.borland.com/nickhodges/articles/26687.aspx> introduction
to the IDE this morning. I must say that until now I had thought of the
new IDE as a bit 'Visual basic' and not that impressed ( I like lots or
room to code and see my forms etc, without project managers all over the
screen). However after watching the demo I am impressed. I like the
ability to search through components and love the idea of scroll in
component panel etc.
I am rearing to go now. Just need to Boss man to give the OK.

Close to your question...my experience was:
1. Can Turbo Delphi open our old D6 projects or is there some sort of
conversion required?
Open DPR, creates a new file .BDSPROJ automatically. (This file saves much
more stuff about the last open state of the project, including breakpoints
and which units open etc, and .bdsproj used to open the project after that)
4. Can I install Turbo Delphi pro and Delphi 6 Pro on the same machine?
I have D5 and D2006 are on the same PC, made sure later version installed to
different folders (which it does by default anyway). Have to say haven't
used D5 once since upgrading though. BUT keep the help files - they are
worth loading into the tools menu!
Overall I had no conversion issues. Only used a couple of tiny components
outside the VCL for which I had source, so no worries. Worst problem was
some of the source got too indented, had to fix manually.

Subject: [DUG-Offtopic] Turbo Delphi
Hi
We are currently using Delphi 6 Pro. We are considering moving to Turbo
Delphi pro but I have a few questions.
2. Is there some sort of product upgrade available or do we just have
to buy it at full price?
3. Where do we buy it from and for how much? The
http://www.turboexplorer.com web site is listed as where to purchase but
I cant find a purchase link.
This seems a really good product but DevCo could make it easier to buy :)
Does anyone have any comments or experience with the Turbo products?
