Glynn and some others have been talking about SIGs as one of the
collective types we should have. In the current proposal, I have
Communities replacing Community Groups. So, now we have Communities vs
SIGs hanging out there. From a practical perspective, I see the two
groups as absolutely identical under the new structure, so we don't need
both of them. Let's pick one right now.

We may be able to clarify things by choosing SIGs over Communities. The
term Community Groups has always been confusing since we also refer to
the entire OpenSolaris community as a community. So, if we replace
Communities with SIGs, it becomes easier to explain the OpenSolaris
community as consisting of a few groups -- Projects, SIGs, User Groups
and an Electorate. Now the term /community/ refers to one thing -- the
/entire/ community. Easier? I'm sure Glynn already made this point, but
can we decide this one issue in this thread before the vote on Monday?
Shouldn't take more than one day to decide this, I would imagine.
