Since history is often cited in these threads (as being right or wrong), I'd just like to confirm this and expand it. The Cabal was indeed the first group we talked to and the first group to come into the Pilot Program and see the source. I got your names from Alan DuBoff and Eric Boutilier -- both of who were doing community-building before OpenSolaris. They told me you were the "Secret Six" so I expected six people on the call. I think there were dozens. :) I was warned to get an NDA before that initial conversation because some inside were concerned about leaks. Well, we skipped the NDA and just talked and no one violated the trust. We need to get back to just talking and honoring each other's trust.
