I expect most of the real decisions to be happening on project or community specific mailing lists. General consensus works when you build up a community of trust and recognize who to listen to, and who to dismiss. For example, would you really dismiss someone like Bryan just because he's not a core contributor of the ARC community? It's all about each person building up a set of profiles, and that much takes time. Glynn
