To incubate CGs, not Projects. Yes. I was actually thinking that the OGB could function in this capacity, which would also offer us the opportunity to familiarise new Core Contributors-to-be with their responsibilities and privileges. Each CG-in-training would become an OGB standing committee, along with one or more OGB members (the Constitution permits this) and could endorse projects to publish new work. If/when a real community grows up around the work, it gets spun off into a real CG. At that point, everyone should be familiar and comfortable with the operation of a CG as well as creative ways to manage smaller efforts (projects, committees, and others). -- Keith M Wesolowski "Sir, we're surrounded!"
