My rationale for offering the amendment was that these CCs were focused primarily on editorial activities rather than the technical ones remaining within the Group's charter as then amended. Our rationale for rejecting it was that they might have been added to contribute in other areas still within the charter but not normally thought of as technical (though they are): layout, look and feel, navigation, i18n and l10n, and so on. This is reflected in the minutes. Of course, the initial CCs are free to resign if they don't feel they are designated appropriately given the Group's purpose, and they can add to their number in the usual manner. We did note the absence of Mr. Cicero from the list, something on which in hindsight I wish we had spent more time. -- Keith M Wesolowski "Sir, we're surrounded!"
