I was forwarded the post on the OGL (which is why I joined this list in
the first place) and wanted to know if this was a recent revision to the
OGL or something that's been there all along.
In either case, I can see trouble ahead for several companies. Would
anyone who uses d20 in their product title, for example, be in trouble?
If so, one of my favorite companies (which shall go unnamed) is in big
trouble over not only the huge book they just released but the book
they're about to release at GenCon. Especially as those books provide a
substantial alteration to the d20 System.
I feel stupid for not having kept up on these developments as well as I
should have. If I had, I would have altered my own plans accordingly. As
it is, I'm wondering if someone could send me the complete most recent
version of the OGL (privately, of course) so that I could see for myself
what's legal and what's not.
