The folks at "www.theothergamecompany.com" have chapters in their "free stuff" section which have layout targeted for printing handouts. It's fairly attractive.
The best HTML layout I found was the Bombshell Studios v. 3.0 compiled HTML help.
I'm certain both of those parties may be willing to take on project volunteers to help produce nicely formatted free SRD distributions.
