I think he means more of the, "putting it closer to what it should be" as opposed to "dashing crusader for proper copyright notices". Another option that I've been considering since I woke up (vent then sleep, it clears the head) is to include it verbatim, but then put notice below the (total) S15 re-affirming the "exact text" part and that "some" copyright notices are in error at the source. It seems the cleanest way available. The frustration comes from the no-return-contact part... I could handle not getting any cooperation (it gives me the privilege of calling them jerks), but the void-factor is irritating to no end. I mean, is it a big company? No. But they do routinely put out products, including two recent releases, so it feels like an intentional blow-off (and probably is). ~Jimmy Domsalla qtgg.icehex.net ----- Original Message ----- From: "Clark Peterson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, February 17, 2004 1:29 PM Subject: Re: [Ogf-l] Crippled Section 15 Notice > > You'd still be in breach of the license; morally > > right, but legally > > wrong. > > Morally right?
