Having a less than exhaustive collection of OGL material at hand, I'm not sure how to go about this. I have a set of feat effects I would like to work out but I don't want to "reinvent the wheel" for any that are already designed, tested, and debugged both for my benefit and for that of the customer ( who really doesn't benefit for yet another version of Feat effect X )
Is there a mailing list or other resource site for this? I once proposed a minimal cost, paid for site for professionals for just this purpose but all of the established, reputable D20 producers I spoke with feared the political backlash. Sure, hosting free, but the time spent getting those rules into the system, De-PI'd, categorised, etc. would be mountainous if the site was gonna be useful. eh. Anyway.
