With OGL, you can do anything you want, just don't use any of WotC's
copyrighted material to add to the OGL material.  This means you have to
whip up your own character creation rules.  WotC's strategy for D20 software
appears much less mature than the one for pen & paper.  I expect you'll see
some better guidelines once the PHB is released.

I approached Ryan with an idea about how to handle D20 software, which
apparently was an idea that WotC was already mulling over.  We'll have to
see if they make it public.  I think the CD which is planned for inclusion
with the PHB may be part of the new software strategy.

I think that Hasbro doesn't wants to rush into anything with software right
now, at least not until they have a better idea of where they want to take
D&D with regard to software.
