A question for consideration:

Is there any reason you can not *add* something above or below the D20 logo, 
such as the phrase "100% Compatible" that would indicate that you 
incorporated *ALL* of the D20 material and (as a designer) did not spoil the 
"compatibility" of the game?

And could this be written into the STL to prevent people from abusing it?
