But it was inappropiate for an individual to take it upon themselves 
to pass out information that could reasonably create a stampede of 
email of folks whose sole purpose is to attempt to get an early 
copy of the book.

I don't know who posted it to the newsgroup, but doing so, 
especially without Ryan's permission was totally the wrong thing to 
do. If he had wanted to post the information there, he could have 
very easily rejoined (if he ever actually unsubscribed) to post that 
information himself.

Personally, I think that if a person would take this step, I would not 
trust them to honor the NDA. If a person on one of the newsgroups 
were seriously interested in producing products for the d20 system, 
they would have joined this mailing list to begin with.
