I looked through it at the store... it tries to simulate all the powers
and abilities characters get in Diablo, and offers no hint about how to
roleplay in the game world. In effect, it's exactly like playing the video
game, only you roll dice instead of press your mouse buttons.
I would have liked it better had it gone into greater depth about the
setting and offered some more advice on how to expand the game into a true
roleplaying experience... but that's my own bias showing. I'm sure there
are some kids out there who relish the thought of the pure, unadulterated
hack'n'slash gaming it offers.
