it needed a name.  "Open Gaming License" is not a sufficiently 
distinctive name (even if there weren't already someone trying to use 
that generic moniker as a proper noun).  there were no parties 
involved in its creation who wished it to be linked to them, as it is 
intended to be independent.  it was finalized in October.
