I see it differently. If you had an "Acknowledgements" section in a product thanking the creators of the OGC you used, I don't think it would necessarily be considered an indication of "compatibility or co-adaptability." The lawyers may disagree, but I think you can include a credits section as long as you avoid language about the usability of the products in conjunction with each other.
