I agree, some obsure awards system that nobody knows about isn't going to be a benefit to anybody. I don't know the best way of going about it, but purhaps if a distributor or two, and purhaps the various publishers, supported the effort -- then we could have pamphlets distributed (along with orders) to gaming stores to be put on display. A dozen or two donated (or purchased) products that will be given away as prizes to "voters," would encourage people to at least take a look at the site. >> Free20 seems the most committed to open content but has the same >> d20 focus. The OGF website would be a natural but it's too >> functional to count as a magazine. Although, yes, the Free20 is mostly geared towards d20 / SRD compatible things, we are hoping to eventually encompass all OGC -- where'ever it comes from. I know my personal site, The Open Gaming Exchange (http://www.ogexchange.com), is not generating a large amount of traffic (it does have some steady traffic) but I can offer it to host the awards on behalf of the OGF -- and I'm will to donate time & energy on setting up a nominations / voting system there. -- Mike _______________________________________________ Ogf-l mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.opengamingfoundation.org/mailman/listinfo/ogf-l
