Harsh, but undoubtably correct.. and yes Faust, we know you will be
releasing something.. We all have faith in that much :) (Heck, most of us
are still waiting to get autographed copies at some point..)

Truth be told, I am not published yet either, and am way behind on my
projects.. although I do have one project to the 80% stage.. the other two
are still at about 25% due to RL issues.. And yet, I still don't complain
about the license.

Folks just need to realize that the SRD and WOTC OGL stuff is 100% created
to favor WotC.. it is to push their product, create a demand for their core
books and so on. By doing anything with the SRD, you are creating yet
another need for the WotC books. Be it the need for the MM to see what Mind
Flayers look like or the PHB to see how to advance a character, all of the
projects and products eventually push back to the need to use a WotC
product.

This is ok with me.. I accept this and admire WotC for finding a way to do
this successfully.. Its the 'American Way' and all that. It is business
creating opportunities for itself. They are not giving this stuff away to be
nice, or be friendly or because it is the right thing to do. They give it
away because it creates a need for their product. Anyone who has a problem
with that should probably pull the plug now on any products they were
working on and go find another game to write stuff for.
