Ok, one more question. The issue of binary distribution arose and I'd
like to get thoughts on that. Let's say I write a thin interface and the
database SQL commands in VB, and maybe use a couple of C++ COM objects
to handle some dirty work like calculating stats etc. that I developed
myself. I include with the binary distribution all of the source code in
a folder in the installation directory with clear instructions on how to
access that information, should another developer wish to examine the
code. In the source code I append a copy of the OGL to each source file
that contains open code and clearly identify the code that is released
as being open content and clearly identify the stuff that is copyright
someone else or just not released (i.e. kept as PI). In reading the
license it really doesn't say anything about how it's distributed as
long as the open stuff is marked clearly and the license is distributed
with it. Now I figure that by the time I've added copies of the license
to the source, the ELUA, the about menu item, the output from the
program, the individual databases, wow that's a lot of text, but I would
think that would reasonably cover the requirements set forth in the
license. Now am I missing something here, or have I in your opinion met
the letter and spirit of the agreement?

Thanks for putting up with me :)

It does not appear to be a game to me.

And, since it's a web site, you are not distributing anything except the
output.

The output stat block, however, should be marked as OGC, and should come
with a copy of the OGL, and the copy of the OGL should have it's section
15 updated to reflect your copyright in the stat block.
