The file in question is: ESD_Policy_Final.rtf

>From within the file itself we have:

* ... this document addresses Wizards of the Coast's ("Wizards") policies
with regard to that activity.

* A section entitled: Compliance of Conversion Policy, Open Game License and
the d20 System Trademark License:

* ... A current version of this policy can be obtained at ...

But then again, this is really all just debate -- as the most important part
of the document, from a business entities stand point is the clause stating
that they can "terminate this agreement at any time by notice to you via
email or surface mail." Much like the d20 STL -- if WotC sees something
they don't like, they can terminate the agreement, and issue a new one.
Unlike the d20 STL though, it will be a bit more painful for them, since
they (WotC) have stated that they will notify you of the changes.

Perhaps I was lax in my English class, but my understanding what that "Cat",
"Dog", "Horse", "Dragon" are all proper nouns. But then, I never was an
English major -- so I could very well be wrong on that point.

Ah, a quick look at a handy dictionary tells me I was wrong on that point.
So, yes, you can include the name -- just as with the SRD, but again like
the SRD, you can't include the description (as it's not game rules.)

Also - anyone interested in doing Conversions, should also track down the
"Folks.doc" file, where Anthony explains each paragraph of the ESD
Conversion agreement. If it's not posted anywhere, I'd be glad to put it up
on the FGA site.
