No, I'm not holding my breath. But Charles Ryan have made a statement on Wizards' message board that VP/WP system may be OGC. He went further to say that his upcoming edition of ULTRAMODERN FIREARMS (to be published under the Green Ronin label) will include stats for use with the VP/WP health system as well as the HP system. Apparently it seems that when a notable author who may be a Wizards employee (even former) wants something be made OGC for an upcoming third-party d20 product, it becomes a priority. Monte Cook wanted the psionics rules Open (albeit still in draft form) so his buddy Bruce Cordell could write a d20 psionic product for Malhavoc Press. Perhaps Charles Ryan may have the same influence.
