I would have dropped them a note before posting here. Rude or not. They cannot even declare an iconic PI because they don't possess any rights to the character. I've emailed people about this before (with large numbers of not a lawyer comments) and most of the respond with an Ooops. I usually lead with, "I was looking at your site and noticed that you mentioned Mialee in your Open Game Content. I wasn't aware that you could do something like that....."
