I wholeheartedly disagree. The _worst_ thing to do is to keep quiet and "hope that they fix it." Making a public statement, either because they choose not to deal with Mongoose or because they're simply making a wrong decision, is hardly the best thing that they could do.

The PROPER thing to do is to contact Mongoose, and if after a reasonable time they do not fix the error, THEN make it public.
