I think your reading is correct, Gary. I think the original query was effectively whether "authorized" meant "ever previously authorized" as opposed to "currently and still authorized" (i.e., can they revoke authorization and/or say, "we no longer authorize v. 1.X of the license; those versions are no longer authorized".).
I think I agree with your reading of the license, but I think that was the thinking of the folks who chimed in asking the question.
