Yeah. I do vaguely remember a conversation with one user who was using 
this method to break the limits on experience and gold rewards, and I 
wouldn't be surprised to see it used to give additional item rewards 
too.

When I find time to play through to the Alpha Troll, I'll check that 
out. I don't currently have a save in that area.
