Interesting. Even if I go back to SVN revision 2822, I still cannot
reproduce this bug. I tested on a Windows Box too, and I couldn't
reproduce it there either.

* I have tested SVN rev 2822-2833
* I have tested Linux and Windows XP
* I have tested using Walkabouts, Medium Enemies, and Large Enemies
* I have tested manual modification of palettes and copy-paste of
palettes
* I have tested the palette browser from the sprite I had selected when
I change the palette
* I have tested the palette browser from a different sprite from the one
I had selected
* I have tested the palette browser via the enemy appearance menu
* I have only tested the gfx_fb and music_sdl backends, but I assume
everbody else is using gfx_fb, and I can't cnceive of how the music
backend could matter for this.
* I even went back and tested Xocolatl+2

I just can't reproduce this darn bug :(
