You can't upload a digitized book to Open Library, because OL is not a
library, it is only a catalog. You /can/ place a digitized version of
your book in a personal storage area at Internet Archive, and create a
catalog entry at Open Library to point to it, just as you can place a
digitized copy of a book at WikiSource or Project Gutenberg and create a
catalog entry that points there.

If you place a digital copy at Internet Archive I don't know that it
will be identified as an "eBook" in the OL catalog, just as catalog
entries which point to Project Gutenberg are not identified as "eBooks".
But you can certainly place copies of your e-book all over the internet
and add multiple URLs to the OL catalog entry to point to each and every
one of them.
