I've been watching the Barret Jackson auction. Prices are really getting unbelievable! It would be great to see some olds up there. Anyway my gripe is: I really really really don't care for Mr. Barrett. Seeems a like a pompus A** My burning question is: I wonder if the man is as generous and benevolent as the people who donate and purchase the cars for charity? I would bet my life that he takes his 7% buyers and sellers fees on it!!!!!!! 7% buyer and seller fees, unheard of. Amy Lasseter, now theres a smart girl: average looks but managed to "marry" her way to success. At least she I can respect! I live in fort Laud., always wanted to bring my 55,000 original, 3 owner Rallye 350 up there and see what it would pull. LAst two years, Palm Beach lagged behind Scottsdale, but now they're right up there in prices.
It's amazing what some people will spend to get their face
on tv! I sure I can't be the only one here with these observations. 530,000.00 for a new ford GT, rediculous!
My cousin is dying!: 16 in 1983 and he was going to buy a perfect 70 454 ss chevelle. His father thought is was too much car and wouldn't let him buy it! It would still be perfect just as his 70 1/2 z28 and his zo6, he's just that kind of guy. He, just called, every year I listen to him regret/cry about it! .Steven

Dan,
I'm going to assume this is legit and not an April Fool's story... because
if it is, and with me being the list admin, it wouldn't be nice to fool
me, now, would it? ;-)
I remember Robert Vaughn very well -- The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and a host
of TV guest appearances, like the one I watched recently on an old Columbo
episode (he made a good bad guy). I've never seen Vince except in the
tabloids, which begs the most important question: how's his girlfriend
Jennifer doing? :)
