Here Here Matt,
Nice to see someone stick up for a Ebay seller for once. (and I don't
know the seller) But, I mean really, are they all Nigerian Bankers?
It looks like anyone who lists an Oldsmobile, or Oldsmobile part for
sale opens himself for a tirade of accusations and innuendos, even threats
of bodily harm. If you don't believe the listing, or don't trust the seller.
Simple, "Just don't bid".
After all it is possible that some just don't have expertise to evaluate
what they have. Or simply make some honest mistakes in there listing? Damn
even misspellings will get them a blast from list members that may be or may
not be better informed.
Don't get me wrong, I know there are thieves and outlaws on Ebay, as
well as down the street in my own hometown. So let the buyer beware! But
don't group all the apples in one basket.
Again, I'm not trying to start a war here, just an observation. It may
be naive, but I still have a little faith that there are a few straight
shooters left out there!
Anyway I have vented, with no flame war intended.
Have a good weekend!
Howard
