Base 350-4 barrel engine , I always thought it is a w31 at least thats what all the literature and badgeing on the car says. Special heads and 10.5 to 1 comp.  All rallyes should have a head with the #9  cast in them. Aluminium intake ram air etc.  Doesn't sound like a base 350-4bbl cutlass engine, Lord said I'd be wrong once, mabey this is it.

That one is difficult. If you look at it from the "badging" viewpoint
then it is a muscle car, but if you look at it from the "upgraded engine
for more performance" viewpoint then it is not a muscle car since it
used the base 350-4 bbl engine that was standard equipment in the
Cutlass Supreme.

So I guess "bastard child" or "redheaded stepson" would be appropriate.
