one more thing can a 1970 455 out of a 442 be a 2 brl??
I don't believe a 2 bbl 455 could be ordered in a '70 442. But who knows what a previous owner might do when he rebuilt the engine and wanted more fuel economy. He could have installed the 2 bbl from another engine. He could have blown the original engine and then got the 2 bbl 455 as a replacement, then rebuilt the replacement engine.
