Building a 330

Hello
My buddy who bought my 67 Cutlass has gotten a spare 330 block and heads.
He has asked me how big can he build the 330?
I thought i would ask here first for any suggestions.
Can a 400 be made out her?...what rods / pistons, bore/ crank to use?
I will pass on any tips given.
