i am German and Suxe was/is an German Distribution, so i have all become
with,
what's going on on suse and bring Suse as exemple there , it's a very
bad example..
(i have start with Suse 4.3 at ~1997/8 or something ..)
I'd rather have a 100% custom installation, so a quick throw it
of something I have not in hand.
and, on the Realinstaller (draininstaller) was it possible for an
"silence-install" with an rpm-listing..,
and an install in one way.. this was also possible !
or it is possible for create an "install-config-script" who make it
possible to
have all custom installation, by user or ! by provider..
but an squashfs it is in spite of everything the biggest crap and
anyone should fast as possible fix/improve the drakinstaller .

and to manny packages.. hey sorry, this is not an argument , we have
today an 1MB up to 100Mbit network line..
and on an DVD have enough space for compressed rpm's, they are take not
more space as an compressed squashfs.
and.. the CPU + Harddisk (dont forget ssd's) been goes very faster in
the last time, so it is also not an argument ..
The user should have the free possible for installing what he want ! and
not an f..*beep* squashfs
who put any bullshit on the harddisk . Whoi the cooker whant.. or wnyone
whant.. but not the user ..
who want install it.. or maybe the provider..
the real Mandrake User and Mandriva user want have
management/administreation/violence over die installation
and want determine, what it is pulling on the harddisk as system and
what not !
so it is an squashfs the biggest crap ever and can be only an helping
out installer and not an real installer
that it is for all time on Man.. OpenMandriva but if they are want make
broken/shattered Mandrake/Mandriva
as distribution as it is, or should be, make it further so, sometime I

relly truth , i hate the squashfs installing methode, because
this make not possible for the user to installing exactly this what
the user want (what all the user want) !
an RPM-Releate installation it is much better, because, like with the
real installer, the one and only

i be ever against this f-beep- crap, garbaged f-beep- installer who

where it is set/give, was installed and what not !
