I've done few tests about rpmbuild fetching the source on abf, and looks
like
that if we don't have a direct link to the source tarball rpmbuld won't
fetch it
means that sourceforge is prety much useless since all the tarballs are
mirrored, ad counting that
more then 60% of the souces are hosted on sourceforge and alike ,you do
the math...
It is any chance that you can tune up rpmbuild to jump at least 2 url's
, or more ,
not to many jumps ,of course ,this would cause a loop, but just to
decrease the filestore load
and to use the worker to store the tarball during the build, anyway the
tarball will be available in srpm
so if is possible to don't store it why not?
I must say that more then half of my updates for rosa are fetching the
sources
during the build...
I'm not a rpmbuild scientist but maybe Denis can help with tuning
rpmbuild in omv too...
since in rosa source fetching is a joke and works flawless ....
Please consider it as a emergency for packaging.
