LLVM/Clang is a modern set of compilers with new vision and
        possibly better
future rather than something that got invented in late 80's.
        SO yeat from that
pov we did a good move, which also may bring some attention
        out there.

Furthermore, it's not the time to discuss it, like Tomasz wisely
said in other post, there is now need to focus on 911. However
maybe it will be worth coming back discussing on this topic
_after_ 2014.1 is out, because of several concerns and parameters
that may not (and could not) have been taken in account, nothing
    urgent however :)

    cheers

I'm not a compilers guru , but I'm using this compilers since a
while, and as personal experience ,
I can assure everybody here that a 2 figure release vanilla gcc
just sucks , so 4.9 vanilla sucks,
but rosa patched it and it works pretty good, ... Honestly I don't
    really care that
abf will build my package in 10 minutes or half an hour, but the
FACT is that in gcc builds, and in clang No,
_/* as far I'm concern */_I wont look for workarounds , bootstraps
or dirty fixings, if I have 8 builds for 4
distros successfully published , I wont search to fix the fifth ,
and the excuse " you missed some libs"
    it doesn't take any more.
A wild guess ( personal opinion, so obviously "I'm boasting the
reality", as usual..) , we will have up to 20% in cooker/contrib
    that won't build,
but since those are not supported by OMA , ain't no lost.
Clang is just too young to be promoted as default
    compiler....again IMHO.
But the choice was made, measures ware taken, i guess we have to
    live with it...
    PS
Just out of curiosity , somebody knows another distro that switch
    to clang as default compiler?
O just we are reinventing the wheel?

Hi SymbianFlo,

do you think that automating the export CC = gcc for all failed building would be a good solution?
