    Hi Tomasz,

so should work on the minimal-iso also, if i format the /dev/sda1
and mount this filesystem on /mnt/sda1

    urpmi --root /mnt/sda1 basesystem icewm

so should work this also ?

i see it at moment in --help .. humm, well, so
it should be possible to create an GUY for it with selection of
    task-xxxxx and
an possible for adding manually rpm selection with auto dependency
    resolution ?

so, something like an "borginstaller" user led ;) possible to
    create in QT or something
an programminglanguage who works also in prompt with Asccii-art ..
i think Per Øyvind know wat i mean, like the 2 disk installer Per
    Øyvind from the past :)
for create an install over ssh also in prompt, you know :) to have
    an possible for
start "Bork-OMLx-installer" per asccii ;) to install an other
computer.. this is also an well
suggestion for providers to have an possible for an easy
    networkinstall (or over com3/2/1)..
you know .. no matter witch system, should both working well :)

Are you referring to the stage1 environment (ucDrakx) of the Moondrake releases? :o)
holy, 2 brains one thinking *g* hihi ...

I've opened up my repositories with all the work done on this, the tools for generating isos are easy to use and really fast (it's basically just doing two rounds of dependency solving of all packages to be included on iso, then writing the iso directly without need for copying all of iso content to one location.
Nor does it require root either. :)
nice :)

It's not a high priority of mine to merge DrakX yet, but if anyone would be willing to do so, I'm available for answering any questions. The DrakX repo, along with all the other *drak* tools etc. has been actively developed and maintained by myself, while merging all of Mageia's commits of interest and also syncing translations, so considering the packages of in the distro being virtually unmaintained for more than 1,5 years, I'd assume people would have great interest in merging this work...

because the minimal iso looks well so far :) and this it is why i
have think about the installer-possibility ..
becasue we mus satisfy also providers, they are can be also the
key for an big success ..
    and eventually working with ..

How large is the minimal iso?
an bit lager as the boot.iso it was.. 150 MB.. and , Per, i know, it's not minimal, but they are saying minimally .. (hey, don't make jokes about now.. *giggle* or i mus rolling over the floor .. ! )

boot.iso, which contains a very complete and and convenient environment linked against uClibc. It's basically the old second stage rescue mode image merged with the first stage installer, but far more complete & powerful, being a mini version of the distro providing most of base distro functionality with a lot of convenient diagnostic, rescue, network tools etc. comes at a size of about currently 35MB, coming naturally with the network installer from the past.

i know, i know.. and really i miss the times .. you should make an
automation for they are for generating some small and nice boot.iso's
to install our linux (you see) to have the possible for install moondrake
icons and themes and OMLx one's , because we have now an very big pool of rpm with rpm's if be working together , and therewith i mean Moondrake, Rosa and OMLx .. how ever, the way work ever more well for us together, and this is very well so !

The compressed initramfs takes less than 10MB and can be used as a rescue/diagnostic environment far more complete and more convenient in usage than what dracut provides with far larger images..

So if people are looking for tasks to work on, just holler, I've got loads of stuff that needs to be merged and better integrated into the distro etcetc. :)
humm, i don't know what's comes in the next 2 month, once part, i become nore time and become workless again , or, i stay in work and have less time, but possible for supporting our distro.. .. in possibly one way or the other .. like CD's distributing on the my working place ..in esslingen, where it is the uni, the mirror from esslingen ;) how ever.. it decide it in the next 2 month.. up to this time i have to work and have less time in any case .. :o
