Regarding the lib64qtsebkit I cheated and installed it from ABF via
gurpmi. Now Plasma Media Center will play with audio the movie for 1
second then stops. But I don't have to end it with kill switch. It does
play an mp3 music file OK.

the vlc version in restricted should work with mp4.
