Sorry to bring up such an *old* thread.. Long story short.. I'm trying to build a fully open onnv-gate and hit something which depends on javac.. So I need jdk6 to build icedtea (at least the first round.. yes. I can fully open source bootstrap, but it's a bit more tricky)
ld.so.1: java_ee_sdk-5_06-solaris-i586.bin: fatal: libCrun.so.1: open failed: No such file or directory Killed So.. the source for SUNWlibC floating around and I missed it.. I know nothing about c++.. should I just fully open source bootstrap java and forget..... (extract the jdk6 source elsewhere and ship.. add the encumbered binaries....) Suggestions from those who know better are appreciated.. Thanks ./C
