Dear External API Project Committers, I would like to nominate myself as the PTL for the ONAP External API Framework Project.
Short bio: Andy Mayer is a PMTS in the D2 Technology Integration group at AT&T where he is focused on end-to-end information integration. Andy served as MEF's Chief Architect for Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO), and was the main author of the MEF LSO Vision whitepaper and MEF 55 as well as many other MEF technical specifications, including MEF 7, MEF 15, and MEF 28. Also at MEF, he led Dynamic Responsive Ethernet for Cloud initiatives, served as co-chair of the forum's Management coordination team, and built strategies for open source community development of LSO capabilities. He is a leading expert and trusted adviser in service orchestration, network management, information modeling, and policy based management for connectivity data services and advanced technologies, including SDN and NFV. He holds a BS from Purdue University, as well as a MS and Ph.D. from Stevens Institute of Technology. Before joining AT&T, Andy was with Applied Communication Sciences (formerly Telcordia / Bellcore) for nearly 30 years.
