The reason to do instantiateVFW is that it will test that you have configured SO to talk to Openstack correctly and that SDNC preload is working for your VNF. Alot of times this will find problems with the robot and so sections of our integration-override.yaml that are environment specific (image names, credentials etc)

When you do manual distribution through the GUI you need to open up the SO section and make sure the model is marked DISTRIBUTION_COMPLETE_OK – that is required for VID to display the DEPLOY button since that is the query that VID is doing to AAI to find available models. 4. POMBA is just for auditing and for Casablanca its an optional component so will not impact instantiate. 5. You want to look at the DCAE HTTP 500 error and see if that container/POD needs to be restarted – that will only affect closed loop testing 6. Holmes is only used in a couple of use cases for closed loop so I don’t think it will impact your testing. You should look again at why is it returning an HTTP 502. Perhaps a separate email on that problem to onap-discuss once you have a log file entry. I think you should do a vFWCL instantiation. ./demo-k8s.sh onap instantiateVFW is a good test to run next. It should instantiate an instance of vFW and leave it running Could also do ./ete-k8s.sh onap instantiateVFWCL (this should delete the VNF after the test) Check you robot container for which tags are exposed in robot/testsuites/vnf-orchestration.robot for ete-k8s.sh. Or any of the manually driven tests.
