I agree we should have a proper way to login to SDC but for now that way
is through Portal.
It appears Portal has been disabled by default because it is
un-maintained, however un-maintained is different from being un-used. We
should only remove components that are un-used.
I agree we should remove the dependency of SDC on Portal so Portal can
be removed, but we are not there yet

To access the SDC application GUI, you will need a cookie in your
browser with field USER_ID, and whichever userid you want to use
(cs0008, e.g.) as the value.

or instead of sdc.api.... you can use the ip address of your ONAP
installation. You will get unsuccessful logins several screens and go
to where it stops.
Then using your browser's web developer tools, create the cookie
mentioned above. Then use the portal url again (or just delete the
error part of the url at the end of where it quit) and you should be
able to get in.

I have installed the Jakarta release. Since the Portal module is
unmaintained in this version, I am looking for a way to login to the
SDC dashboard without the Portal.
