Hi Jessie,

I check this again, Epics shows the correct plan for people who could submit
their RST spec here, Story for resources are not correct which reflect your
comments, I talked with YANG Xu, he by mistaken create those stories, I have
asked him to close those story and set it “won’t do”,

Thanks a lot for your checking
Best regards,

DENG Hui

Deng Hui-
My question to you this morning was this. I have understood that the
following info on this page: Casablanca Modeling
M1<https://wiki.onap.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=35524278> was what was
approved by the TSC for Casablanca M1. This page includes all of our high-level
requirements (as Epics/Stories) as specified by the modeling subcommittee that
have NOT yet been approved by the committee. So how did they get approved by
the TSC?

Dear all,

Agree with Brian. The scope of the modeling project, as it was agreed upon, was
to focus on modeling related tools. Modeling specifications and their curation
was always part of the modeling subcommittee work.

Recall that when modeling subcommittee was formed, the intents was for
individual projects to create their own relevant information and data models
and to work with the modeling subcommittee on their adoption across other
projects.

Hi Brian,

I have just created a modeling governance page which explains the relationship
among modeling subcommittee, modeling project and SDO coordinators.
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Modeling+Governance
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/ONAP+Modeling+Governance

The same page which is under both modeling project and modeling subcommittee. I
hope this page could help to answer your questions. Apologize that I haven’t
done this early.

Thanks a lot for your kind review
Best regards,

DENG Hui

Deng,
What do you mean by "modelspec"? The modeling project has the following scope
and deliverables (I don't see Modeling Specifications listed which I thought
was part of the Modeling Subcommittee):
Also, I didn't see your response to Mazin's question: Are you holding an
election at the same time for the Chair subcommittee?
Scope:
• Modeling tools and converters
• Code - parsers (unified API interfaces) and tools (translators)
• Support Use cases of ONAP: vCPE, vVoLTE, vFW, et al.
Deliverables for release 1

Parsers and translators:
• Tosca Parsers
• YANG Parsers
• Tosca to Heat
• YANG to Tosca

Thanks
Brian

Hi Mazin

I guess that you know that PTL couldn’t remove the committer, I sent email to
every committer after Release 1,
two of them email’s are not reachable, one agree to step down, so that’s the
reason we removed 3 of them after the vote of all committers.
Others replied and said that they would like to continue.

Current committers are not only for tosca parser , but also for modelspec.

Thanks a lot

Thanks. I am assuming the project is based on the repo that is supporting the
Tosca Parsers,
and you are tracking active committers.

Are you holding an election at the same time for the Chair subcommittee?

Yes it is modeling project PTL election other than modeling subcommittee.

You may have missed below email which does have the link to repositories

the committers in modeling project are:
Hui Deng

Rittwik Jana
Bruce Thompson
Maopeng Zhang
Zhaoxing Meng
Amir Levy
Arthur Berezin
Sandeep Shah
Ling Li
Liuhe Zhong
Yannan Han
Hu Dong
Serban Jora
Lingli Deng

I did send email to helpdesk to remove 3 of them from the list before based on
the confirmation of project:
Bruce Thompson
Arthur Berezin
Ling Li

It seems that they are still here, I will send again to helpdesk
So the final qualified committers are:
Hui Deng
Shitao Li
Rittwik Jana
Maopeng Zhang
Zhaoxing Meng
Amir Levy
Sandeep Shah
Liuhe Zhong
Yannan Han
Hu Dong
Serban Jora
Lingli Deng

Deng,

I appreciate you holding an election for the PTL.

For the modeling project PTL election, we need each Chair to ensure they have
vetted all
active committers before any election is taking place. Can you share the list of
active committers.

As outlined in the website the issue is different for the subcommittee modeling
Chair.

It seems that you are initiating a PTL election and not a subcommittee modeling
Chair election.
Please confirm, and share the list of active Committers who will be voting for
the new PTL.

thanks
mazin
