I would think no editor would want to publish any letter without permission from the writer. In view of the pitiful attendance at the political candidate forums last month (with only about a dozen people there and many of those from the sponsoring organizations) perhaps they have seen their day and we should move on to some other means of reaching people. I have been reading that the trend is toward more people wanting to spend the evenings with their families, but they still monitor their e-mail and watch TV. Marcia
