[Winona Online Democracy]
Scott has hit the nail on the head in terms of trying to find key
indicators or outcomes that measure the results relating to why we are
educating children in the first place.
While I'm at it -- there is too much emphasis on college prep. in high
school and way too little on what over half the children really need
for their future endeavors. As I believe more per pupil resources
should go to the younger children, I also believe the high school
level resources should be weighted toward the non-college bound
children.
