As a native Winonan (now 25 years gone) I am very
interested and very proud to hear of the United Way's decision to require
the Boy Scouts and all funded groups to practice acceptance and fight
intolerance in order to get funding. It is a decision that is in line
with the environment I grew up in. Some of
my best friends are openly gay, and yes, they are very good role models for my
five children.
